Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie is for all those chocolate lovers who need an amazing chocolate fix for the day. These cookies are decadent and delicious filled with chocolate in the cookie dough and melted dark chocolate chunks mixed in.

My partner is addicted to chocolate and so these cookies are perfect for him. I had to hide the cookies because he ate three in one bite off of the baking sheet! That is how good these are! If you are a chocolate lover you are going to LOVE these double chocolate chip cookies. It is a classic chocolate chip cookie with melted chocolate in the dough. Cookies are so nice to make, store, gift and eat. I make different kinds of cookies all the time to give away to friends as a sweet treat. I made these because I was in a chocolate mood and I needed a cookie filled with tons of chocolate. They are almost like a brownie cookie with an extra crispy bite and a melted chocolate finish.

What makes these cookies so addicting?

It is all about the chocolate. This cookie is a double chocolate chip cookie meaning that there is cocoa powder in the dough to give that extra dark kick. I am all about using great quality chocolate as a mix in to make an extra rich and decadent cookie flavor. I u promise to purchase high-quality chocolate will make your cookies go the extra mile. You can purchase the pre-made chunks or a chocolate bar and chop them up into chunks. The chocolate chunks in the cookies paired with chocolate chips is a great combination and fill the cookie with so much melted chocolate.

Sticky soft dough:

This dough is sticky and wet from the melted butter but it will form an excellent cookie. I do refrigerate the dough to mix to help solidify the ingredients. This will help the cookie to not flatten in the oven and puff up.
